Live Projects
Live Projects give the students an opportunity to take up full time projects of maximum one month duration with various organizations. Students shall be given enough scope for such projects. Global Advanced Research & Consultancy Cell (G-ARC) has been working on various live projects along with the students. G-ARC not only gives the students an hand-on-experience, but also a real-life input on the day to day functionalities of the organisations they are associated with. G-ARC Cell has been materialising its presence in various industries and community development programs.
Live Project for Mahaveer Bank Belgaum
Prof. Ajay Jamnani along with students of MBA 3rd Sem undertook a live project on feasibility study for opening new branches of the bank in Belgaum City. Post this project, the bank opened new branches and also applied for a license to be a full fledged bank.
Live Project for Pai Bakers
Prof. Ajay Jamnani along with students of MBA 3rd Sem undertook a live project on feasibility for new bakery products.
Live Project for Shanti Iron and Steel Ltd
Ms. Swatee Jog and Ms. Amruta Kadam (Student MBA 3rd Sem) prepared the competency mapping model for Shanti Iron and Steel Ltd.
Live Project for Big Bazaar
10 students from MBA 1st Sem participated in the Big Bazaar’s “Sabse Saste 5 Din” campaign during 13th – 17th August 2013
Corporate Tie ups
At BET’s GBS, learning is an interactive process, involving many prominent personalities from the corporate world. The students imbibe knowledge in a variety of ways, one of which is through Guest Lectures, where the experts from the industry visit the campus to share their insights with the young and dynamic student community at BET’s GBS.
Corporate tie-ups play an important role in exposing the students to workshops & seminars, currently being held by firms like Hexaware Technologies Ltd., Perfetti Van Melle, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd. etc.
BET’s GBS’s corporate training programs have exceeded the expectations of corporate and met with universal acclaim. The Management Development Program (MDP) is the core part of BET’s GBS’s corporate training initiative.
