Computer Center
While each MBA student is required to have a laptop for his course, BET’s GBS also has a well equipped Computer Laboratory with latest computers and accessories – all networked to industry standards to give round the clock (24×7)access to all students and faculty members. The latest system and application software along with industry databases like PROWESS from CMIE are always available to the students.
Computer Centre at BET’s GBS is a central facility that caters to the computing needs of faculty members and students. It caters to 120 users of BET’s GBS. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The centre has power backup through a 600 VA UPS for individual computer and a 200 KVA generator set. The centre will be Air conditioned very soon.

Specifications:
Each computer is a Branded Dell PC with Latest configuration. In this centre interactive practical sessions are conducted to inculcate online teaching methodology.
Network:
Internet & Network is one of the largest campus networks in the District. We have installed capacity of about 600 nodes with about 400 active connections. The Institute network is a Fast Ethernet Fibre Optic backbone which connects the computer centre, Laptops and administrative offices. The access network is structured UTP network using 10/100 Mbps switches. Also it is accessed through 108 MBPS Wireless Routers cum Access Points which are placed in strategic locations of the college campus, thus making the entire campus live 24×7.

We have two internet broadband connections for load balancing and bandwidth allocation for the users.

A pool of supporting hardware devices for user needs of input and output include: A4 size Colour Printer A4 size High Speed Scanner, Laser Printers, and high speed Network Printer.
