BET’s Global Business School, Belagavi organized an Intercollegiate Union Budget 2022 Analysis Competition on Wednesday, 9th March 2022. The main objective of the event was to provide the participants a common platform to present their research, share ideas, and discuss various components of budget document leading to enhancing the analytical skills of the students. The director Dr. Prasad Daddikar welcomed the participants & invitees.
CA Pushkar Ogale, Co-Founder Saksham Corpserve and Mr. Mohammed Akeel Tahashildar, Territory Manager PhonePe were the Guests of honor cum judges for the event. Shri Mahaveer Upadhye presided over the function.
Ten teams from UG colleges of Belagavi have participated and shared their insightful thoughts on seven focus areas of union budget 2022. Students in their presentation discussed their views on budget to the various sectors like education, infrastructure, transportation, MSME, Health and agriculture etc. Ms. Goutami Deshpande and Ms. Janhavi Walvekar, students of GCC Belagavi won the 1st prize of Rs. 5000. The second prize of Rs. 2500 was bagged by Mr. Lokesh Goudar and Ms. Laxmi Choudhari, students of JGND College of Commerce and Science.
The event was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Ranjana Chougule and Asst. Prof. Vaibhav Veeragoudar.
