The students of MBA II and IV semester celebrated ‘Sanskriti’ the cultural week from 2nd to 5th May 2018.
Each day was dedicated to celebrate a unique aspect of our culture combined with competitions and events after class hours.
The first day’s theme was Western wear and the students participated in Mehandi, Tattoo making and Collage competition
The second day was Group Attire and the competitions were Rangoli, Lemon and spoon race and Best out of waste creation
The attire for the third day was Traditional, while students organized Funtakshari and Fireless cooking competition.
The last day had Saree as attire for the girls and Lungi for the boys. The students conducted One minute games on the stage and the participants walked the ramp for a fashion show.
The highlight of the week was the traditional lunch served on plantain leaves with north Karnataka fare served to all students and faculty members. Both girls and boys participated wholeheartedly in all the events. Prizes for all winners were distributed on the last day at the hands of the Director and faculty members.
The Cultural week helped to inculcate a sense of pride in Indian culture and cuisine, to provide a platform to their innate talent and to foster team work and camaraderie.
