The National Conference on “School Libraries in Digital Age”was held on 12th and 13th May 2016 jointly organized by Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School Belagavi, Jain Heritage School (JGI) Belagavi and Journal of Library Development (JLD).
The Conference was inaugurated by Prof. ShivanandHosamani, Hon. Vice Chancellor, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. Dr. MadhuBhargav, Dean of Library Goenka International School, Gurgaon. Many invited speakers were speak on the theme also delegates presented their papers on School Libraries in Digital Age. Shri PushpadantDoddanavar preside over the function. Shri VinodDoddanavar, Chairman GC, BET’s Global Business School, UshaMukunda, Consultant School Libraries, Bangalore, Director, Dr. Govind Welling, Dr. A. R. Rotti, delegates from various schools and all the faculty members many were present. Mr. Prasad Daddikar and Mr. Bharat B. Alasandi were the organizing secretaries for this conference.
