National Librarians’ Day was observed at Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School (BETGBS) Library along with rest of the country to pay tribute to father of Library Science Dr. S R Ranganathan on his birthday. Dr. Devaraju, Assisatnt Professor, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, Dr. Prasad D., Mr. Manikchand B., Mrs. Soumya C. and students paid tribute to Padmashree Dr. Ranganathan. Dr. Devaraju described the importance of library and the vital role of a librarian in molding and shaping the readers. Sir also highlighted the significance of Digital library in today’s knowledge era. Institution librarian, Mrs. Soumya C. mentioned about the role of libraries in meeting the information needs of the people by providing high quality information system and making awareness about the availability of new resources for the users.
