Bharatesh MBA organized annual one day inter collegiate management fest Converge 2023. To commemorate India’s presidency for G20 and the event was based on the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth. One Family. One Future.” Legacy of this event started in 2016 with an aim to bring together the UG students of different educational institutions and to provide a platform for showcasing their managerial skills, creativity and talent.
Dr. Prasad Daddikar Director BET GBS welcomed the gathering. Shri Arunkumar Jha, Assistant General Manager, Bank of India, Belagavi region was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony and he inspired the students to pursue management studies to excel in their career. Sir mentioned about basic and dynamic components of employment and urged the students to keep a learning attitude in this changing world as customers need value addition from corporate world. Shri Shripal Khemalapure, Vice Chairman BET and Mrs. Anupama Shirahatti Chief Marketing Officer, Jain Engineers Ltd were the guests of honor. Shri Mahaveer Upadhye GC Chairman BET GBS presided over the function made presidential remarks on the occasion. Ten teams from various UG institutions from Belagavi district participated in the events. Cash price worth Rs. 26000 /- would be awarded to winning teams in the various day long events. The event was supported by Bank of India, Mahaveer Cooperative Bank, ADMS e Bike, Chandraprabha Offset Printers & Crease Wise Tailors as the lead sponsors of the event. Dr. Padmapriya Katagal and Prof. Ranjana Chougule coordinated the event along with other staff members and students of MBA programme.
