FIVE DAYS FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON LEVERAGING AI TOOLS FOR RESEARCH

Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School, successfully organized a five-day offlineFaculty Development Program (FDP) on & Leveraging AI Tools for Research from 19 thNovember to 23 rd November, aimed at faculty members of higher educational institutions. Theprogram attracted 25 participants including faculty members from UG and PG, research scholarsacross various domains like commerce, BCA, Science, Nursing and Management offering animmersive experience in understanding and utilizing AI tools for academic research.The inauguration of the Program was held in the seminar hall of BIT, Chandragiri campus. The
FDP was hosted at the BIT computer lab at Chandragiri campus, Basavan Kudachi. Shri ShripalKhemlapure Vice Chairman, BET, Shri Sharad Balikai, Chairman, Global Business School, Mrs.Anupama Shirhatti, Member GC GBS, Resource person Dr. Prasad Kulkarni, have graced theinauguration and addressed the gathering.
Dr. Prasad Daddikar, Director GBS welcomed the gathering and Dr. Padmapriya R Katagal,Associate professor and Convener of the FDP proposed Vote of thanks for the Inauguration.The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including, Trend, topic and Tittle generation usingAI algorithms, machine learning for research, and AI-enhanced Introduction and literaturereviews AI-driven data analysis. Renowned experts from academia conducted the sessions, ensuring a balance between theoretical concepts and practical applications. Dr. Prasad Kulkarnihaving vast experience in academics and in conducting such workshops imparted practicalknowledge to participants. Dr. Sreevas VTK from Bangalore conducted AI and Finance research sessions on 21st of November. Participants were engaged hands-on with various tools and software’s during workshops, enabling them to explore tools such as orange Publish or perish, cite fast, data libraries, visualization software, to name a few. The FDP emphasized interdisciplinary approaches, showcasing AIs relevance across various research domains. Participants developed draft research paper including Introduction Reaearch methodology and literature review. The FDP concluded with a valedictory session held at 4.30 pm on 23rd November at the venue. Chief guest Dr. Veena Karche, Principal BIT addressed the participants, Shri Sharad Balikai, Chairman, Global Business School has presented the presidential remarks. Dr. Padmapriya R. Katagal presented the report on 5 days FDP sessions.

Feedback from participants highlighted the program & effectiveness in enhancing research capabilities and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Certificates were distributed, and participants expressed gratitude for the enriching experience. This initiative has furthered our institute commitment to advancing research excellence.
