Government of India MSME Technology Centre Sponsored Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness

Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School (BETGBS) in association with MSME Technology Centre, Bengaluru; organized one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness for its MBA students. Dr. Prasad Daddikar, Director, in his welcome address said, entrepreneurs are the backbone of India, contributing not only to job creation but also to innovation and regional development. Speaking as the Chief Guest; Shri Monish Jirge, Founding Innovation Partner, J Mechatronic, Kolhapur guided young minds to pursue entrepreneurship with responsibility for creating employment opportunities and take the benefits of MSME schemes. Sir motivated students to be creative, identify market problems, validate solutions, explore hidden potential of self and take up the path of entrepreneurship which is less explored by majority of students. Monish sir also highlighted importance of taking risk with responsibility and not to engage in routine activities but look out for new frontiers for development as age is no bar for starting something new which motivates you by giving examples of McDonald, Vedanta Enterprise.Guest of honor & resource person; Shri Praveen Kumar M. P., Head of Training Department, MSME Technology Centre, Bengaluru, highlighted the significance & role of MSME schemes in nurturing entrepreneurship and its contribution to regional development. Workshop resource person, Puneett Korwar, CEO & Founder, Growth Matrix, highlighted how to cultivate service oriented start-up and digital enterprise with limited capital investment and contribute to the economic development of our country. Shri Vinod Doddannavar, Secretary-BET, emphasized on out of the box thinking and taking calculated risks for entrepreneurial journey. Sir mentioned the transformational role of entrepreneurs in today’s digital age and technological era. Shri Sharad Balikai, Chairman-GC, in his presidential remarks guided students to inculcate skills and learn to manage available resources wisely for greater value creation through entrepreneurship. The workshop was coordinated by Mrs. Ranjana Chougule, Dr. Nikhil Ragashetti, Mr. Manikchand Bastwade & Dr. Guruprasad Koti. Mr. Mandar, anchored the event and Ms. Tejashwini proposed the vote of thanks.
