BETGBS organized SEBI-NSE sponsored SMARTS investor awareness program for its students and staff members. Dr. Mahantesh Kuri, Empaneled Trainer of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) conducted NSE-SEBI SMARTS investor awareness program. The resource person enlightened the MBA students on fundamentals of investment and diversified options available for investment. Asst. Prof. Ranjana welcomed the resource person & provided overview of the program. Dr. Kuri discussed three sutras of investing – planning for emergencies and retirement, impact of inflation, power of compounding and investing as per age and investment goals. He educated the students on the settlement cycle for stocks and equity mutual funds. He shared with the students the performance of Gold, Indian stock market and public provident fund etc. Through videos he made the students understand the importance of investment and planning for the secured future. Asst. Prof. Ranjana, led the program & coordinated the event.
