INTERNSHIP WORKSHOP FOR MBA FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School conducted an internship workshop for its final year MBA students on Tuesday 18th of June 2024 in the hybrid mode. As per the regulations of RCUB MBA course requirements students have to take up the sixty days internship project work in the corporate organizations in their respective domain areas.

Dr. Padmapriya Katagal, Associate Professor and SIP Coordinator initiated the workshop along with other staff members who are acting as an internal project guides to the students and highlighted the importance of internship for getting practical learning opportunity.

The workshop started with the formal welcome to all the students, SIP Coordinator and staff members by the Director, Dr. Prasad Daddikar. In the welcome address, Dr. Prasad guided all the participants on the broad outlook of the internship project and provided the guidelines for smooth execution of the internship project work. Various dimensions to be considered in Industry and Company analysis was discussed with case studies from manufacturing and service sector. Significance of Michael Porter’s Five – Force Model, McKinney 7-S Strategy and Marketing Strategy (4-Ps) was highlighted for the Industry and Company analysis.

Dr. Padmapriya mam guided the students on Research Design framework in detail with special focus on Background of the study, Statement of the Problem and Objectives of the study. Sampling design, Questionnaire design, data sources and data analysis techniques were discussed along with case studies from Marketing, Human Resource and Finance perspective. Application and use of AI in project execution was also highlighted by mam.

Prof. Ranjana mam briefed the students about genuine secondary data collection sources and its analysis for effective inference drawing with the help of MS-Excel software

Prof. Manikchand highlighted on the importance on documentation to be maintained during the execution of the internship project and collection of relevant booklets from the company.

Dr. Nikhil sir guided the students on the primary data collection techniques and its reporting in the internship project work.

The workshop was concluded with the queries from students end; vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Padmapriya mam and all staff members conveyed best wishes to the students for successful execution of the internship project work.
