Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School, Belagavi organized a webinar on Personal Finance on June 11th 2024. Zerodha, a leading stock brokerage firm under its Corporate Social Responsibility wing hosted the webinar. Resource person Mr. Salman Head of sales at Zerodha elaborated on building blocks of investment. He shared the benefits of early and regular investing through the power of compounding. He interacted with the students on performance of different assets classes like equity, gold and G-Securities etc. from 2013 to 2022. As money will lose its purchasing power by an average of 6% every year it is vital to invest in inflation beating assets. He has suggested to start investing in large cap funds for beginners. MBA students and faculties participated in the webinar. Assistant Professor Ranjana coordinated the webinar and proposed vote of thanks.
