Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School (BETGBS) organized ‘Threshold 2024’, an induction programme to welcome the new batch of MBA 2023-25 students on campus. Speaking as the Chief Guest; Shri Keith Machado, Managing Director, Orione Pvt. Ltd. guided young minds to dream and pursue their dream in life with responsibility. Sir motivated students to explore hidden potential of self and take up the paths which are less explored by narrating his corporate life and entrepreneurial journey. Sir also highlighted importance of taking risk with responsibility and not to engage in routine activities but look out for new frontiers for development
Dr. Prasad Daddikar, Director, BETGBS welcomed the guests, the parents and students. He presented a bird’s eye view of the MBA degree and the offerings of BETGBS. In his presidential remarks, Shri Mahavrer Upadhye, Chairman Governing Council of BETGBS said that students must learn to manage their time judiciously. An MBA is all about experiential learning, he said, developing skills and attitude can take a student towards success. Members of the Governing Council, students of the new batch with their parents and staff were present for the function.
The event was followed by Parents and Teachers meet, wherein importance of parents in supporting higher education and code of conduct for the students were discussed. The Parents-Teachers meet was attended by a large number of parents and appreciated the efforts of the institution in developing students’ careers. The event was coordinated by Dr. Padmapriya Katagal and Mrs. Ranjana Chougule. Ms. Shravana Naik anchored the event and proposed the vote of thanks. The induction or orientation programme has been planned at the institute to expose the new students to experts to familiarize them with management as a profession.
