Financial Education Program was conducted by the institute under the Aditya Birla Capital Foundation Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) Project executed by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) – An Educational Institute of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Financial Education for young students for a better understanding of financial securities market. This program intends to spread financial education by conducting a financial education program of 10 hours duration extended for two days for the benefit of students. Topics covered under the Program are; importance of investments, introduction to securities markets, primary markets and secondary markets, mutual funds, precautions for investing, investor protection and grievances redressal mechanism & career opportunities in securities markets. A batch of fifty four students successfully completed the training program with a post assessment test and received the certificates from NISM-SEBI. The program lead trainer was Dr. Mahantesh Kuri, Empanelled Resource Person of SEBI-NISM, Assistant Professor & Coordinator, Department of Business Administration Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. The program was coordinated from the institute by Dr. Nikhil Rahgshetti and Mrs. Ranjana Chougule along with Director Dr. Prasad for its final year MBA students.
