Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School organized one day workshop on working capital management on Wednesday, 8th of November 2023 at Landmark, a boutique hotel by Pai Belagavi. The workshop was attended by more than forty participants representing major stakeholders from corporate and academia. Member companies MSME Belgaum, Small Scale Industries Organization; member companies Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries; member companies Belgaum Foundry cluster; faculty members from academic institutions; IMER, GIT, and BCBA.
The chief guest, Shri Satyanarayan Bhat, Joint Director, DIC, Belagavi, in his keynote address emphasized on significance of working capital requirement for the growth of the business organizations. Shri Satyanarayan Bhat highlighted various schemes and support mechanism from state & central institutions related to the monetary facilitation for entrepreneurs. Presidential remarks were made by Shri Vinod Doddanavar, secretary Bharatesh education trust; highlighting the role of pooling of funds in the short terms for efficient management of working capital and savings on interest payable.
Eminent resource persons who conducted sessions at the programme were Mr. Bharat Sahai, AGM, Bank of India; CA Mahaveer Upadhye, MD, Yashwant Industries; CA Madiwalappa S. Tigadi, Chairman, Belgaum ICAI, Belagavi Branch of SIRC; Shri. Amit S. Netalkar, MD, Shrigeet Solutions, Belagavi.
The workshop focused on effective management of working capital and introduced important role of Information Technology in Financial system; Governance and Compliance Management System; ERP facilities for management of working capital.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates to delegates after valedictory address by Mr. Yogendra Gangwar, RSM, Busy Infotech, Bangalore. Mrs. Ranjana Chougule, in her vote of thanks; expressed her gratitude to distinguished resource persons & participants who came from various organizations to attend the workshop.
