Visited Shantai Second Childhood, the home for the aged people

Bharatesh MBA students visited Shantai Second Childhood, the home for the aged people under its ISR initiative. The ashram has given the shelter for 35 old aged people. Mrs. Maria More shared about daily routine of the inmates at the ashram. The ashram inmates spent their day with the students enjoying the games & events. The day was filled with lots of joy and gaining practical experience about NGO functioning.
The students shared the homemade food at the ashram and took the blessing of elderly people. Students said “it is our responsibility to take care of our parents in their old age and understand the sacrifices made in shaping our life”. Students said we have to understand that the dedicated time and care if given for the parents by the children at home can solve social issues.
Shri Vijay More Ex. Mayer of Belagavi and the working president of the ashram, appreciated the efforts of students in organizing the social event and educated them on social values. He also urged the students to take the blessings of their parent’s every day without fail. Students along with Mrs. Ranjana took the initiative of ashram visit and the visit was coordinated by the faculty members Mrs. Rashmi, Dr. Nikhil and Mr. Manikchand Bastwade.
