“Students of MBA need to practice the continuous learning and skill development activities so as to be relevant in the contemporary Industry 4.0 framework. There’s tremendous scope for MBAs in the corporate world today, however, a mere degree is not enough, one must possess skills too” said Shri Shashikant Chinumari, Managing Director of Karya Siddhi Environmental Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. He was addressing students at Threshold 2022, the inauguration cum induction function of a fresh batch of MBA at Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School (BETGBS), Belagavi, as the Chief Guest. Speaking as the Guest of Honor, Shri Shripal Khemalapure, Secretary, Bharatesh Education Trust, highlighted the importance of Attitude, Skills and Knowledge to be successful in life. In his presidential remarks, Shri Mahaveer Upadhye, Chairman, GC, BETGBS, urged the students to strive beyond the syllabus and focus on additional certifications which will augment their employability potential. Also spelled out the vision of BETGBS for skill development and urged the parents to play an important role in this journey. Dr. Prasad Daddikar, Director, BETGBS, welcomed the gathering. Prof. Ranjana Chougule compered the event. Parents of students also shared their feedback. Parents and fresh students, members of management, staff and students were present on the occasion. A week-long induction program has been planned at the institute to expose the new students to a plethora of experts to acclimatize them for management as a profession.
