BET GBS has come out with series of activities to create awareness among the students on hazardous effects plastic usage like guest lectures by officers from pollution control board, poster making competition and a rally. In continuation of the same Ms. Nilam and Mr Narendra advisory members of Ashraya Foundation trained students on preparing paper and gift bags.
Mr. Narendra spoke with the students on benefits of using paper bags in place of plastic bags and urged the students to share the art of preparing these paper bags with their relatives, friends and neighbors etc. And urged the students to carry their own cloth or paper bags while shopping.
Ms. Nilaminspired the students to start a small business unit of preparing paper bags since there is more demand in the market for the same as the government has banned the use of plastic bags all over India by kirana shops, super markets and bakeries etc. MBA Students participated actively in preparing paper bags. Asst.
