This is a contracted on-site seasonal position, located in Boston area.

Hiring Lead Instructional Architects, Co-teachers, Therapeutic Support Specialists, Teaching Assistants, and One to Ones to join our 2026 team.

You will be a key member of our collaborative team implementing transformative learning opportunities through integrative, universally designed, affirming, dynamic and tailored programs for children ages 4 to 12.

The right candidate has a comprehensive skill set for working within youth programs including implementing therapeutically-aligned supports, differentiating instruction, and guiding groups through integrated and creative learning opportunities.

Candidates must be available and commit to being present for the entire program:

July -August 2026, Monday through Friday (no weekends) 8:15 am to 2:45 pm each day.

Available for 4-6- weeks.

Professional Responsibility include:

  • Implementing proactive and responsive classroom/small group management and supervision of 8-20 kids at a time
  • Working with Students Ages 4-12
  • Providing assistance and actively to guiding, modeling, and engaging with them during programming to keep them engaged and ensure all have access in play, art making, nature walks, and learning adventures
  • Lead Instructors: Design and lead dynamic project based and arts integration lessons, arts integration projects, games, activities which weave visual arts, movement, theater, music, science, math, ecology/nature, literacy, ef/sel learning activities throughout the day
  • Implementing universally designed activities, differentiating instructional and engagement, adapting activities or access opportunities for diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Ability to rotate and provide support to multiple students at once, rotate, 'work the room"
  • Teaching assistants : work the room and provide assistance to student, keeping them engaged and supported at all times, redirecting students to core instruction, creating access to instruction, offering additional support to students who need it
  • Therapeutic support specialists: provide flexible and dynamic specialized supports and reinforce program wide and child specific positive strategies, provide dynamic integration of positive tools to ensure engagement, re-engement, and care for all children
  • One to one /two to one : ability to monitor and provide supervision, redirection, guidance, implement safety and prevention plans, deescalation strategies, extra support, remain with assigned child(ren) at all times
  • Employing sensory responsive strategies, neuro-affirming occupational therapy, arts therapy, use of assistive tech, adaptive arts, similar practices a plus, Modeling Pro-Social Behaviors and Interactions, Applying positive socio-emotional and executive function learning opportunities and engagements that promote self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and relationship-building, Using therapeutic co-regulation and redirection strategies
  • Implementing and guiding proactive and responsive transitions throughout the day
  • Supervise children and environment during morning and dismissal routines, free play, and daily activities; provide constant supervision
  • Effective and thoughtful judgment and time management
  • Exercise creativity and flexibility
  • Building authentic and affirming relationships. Take independent initiative to make things happen
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to make all the pieces of the puzzle work together, collaborate and communicate proactively and responsively, support each other in creating balanced labor, efficacy, culture of respect and joy, community and positive impact
  • Follow directions of director, staying open to feedback, sharing ideas, and contributing to the larger goals of the team; attend weekly check-ins
  • Experience working with students from diverse socio-cultural, economic, genders, orientations, neuro-types, abilities, backgrounds; experience creating contexts taht cultivate authentic belonging for all students and families
  • Recognize and respect the unique experiences and perspectives that each child and adult brings, and create a space that honors diversity. Be proactive about ensuring that every student feels included and supported, and adjust strategies to meet their individual needs.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions, using them as an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and clarify expectations for the upcoming programs. Implement strategies and adhere to the guidelines in your daily work with students.
  • Preference to those with cpr/first aid training

Preferred background in : Neuro-affirming Special Education, Occupational Therapy, , Adaptive Arts, Studio Arts and Arts Integration direct instruction, Therapeutic Arts/ Art Therapy, STEAM, Project-based learning, Environmental Education; Must have experience working the neurodiverse learners and effective supervision and group management. Please note that we are ABA/psychiatry free.

Must have experience proactively managing groups of children (8-15 kids minimum), leading youth programs, providing supports and effectively working with children with neuro-developmental, socio-emotional, physical, and learning disabilities. Will not consider applications without experience.

Must pass cori/sori background check.

Salary: starting at $20-40.00 an hour depending on experience. A dynamic skills and assets based rubric is employed along with the interview, work task/sample, and hand-so instructional sessions to determine hiring and salaries to ensure equity.
