Responsibilities:
– Assist the Principal in the overall administration of the school, including curriculum development, staff evaluation, and student discipline.
– Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective instructional strategies and improve student performance.
– Oversee the development and management of the athletic and activity programs, including scheduling, contracting, budgeting, and compliance with regulations.
– Coordinate and supervise extracurricular activities, events, and athletic competitions.
– Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the community to promote school spirit and engagement.
– Monitor student behavior and implement disciplinary measures as needed to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
– Support the professional development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
– Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
– Participate in school improvement planning and assessment initiatives.
– Serve as a role model for students and staff, promoting a culture of respect, responsibility, and excellence.
Requirements:
– Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
– Valid administrative certification or eligibility for certification in the state of Nebraska.
– Minimum of three years of teaching experience, with at least one year in a leadership role preferred.
– Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
– Experience in coaching or managing athletic programs is highly desirable.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and community members.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
– Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion within the school community.
