Salary Range: $320-$350/day

Job Summary:

Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a Full-Time DAY SHIFT CDL (Class A) Driver. As a Bench Driver, you will report in every day and will fill in for any call-outs. If you are not needed on a route that night, you are responsible for helping to load and unload any freight. This role involves the timely pickup, labeling, and delivery of shipments within a 150-mile radius of Portland. MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE DRIVING Class A TRUCKS!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work DAY SHIFT. 
• This Route begins at noon.
• No Touch freight
• Exceptional customer contact and driving skills.
• Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates and store leaders and associates.
• Drive a CDL vehicle – 53' Tractor Trailer.
• Any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE DRIVING Tractor Trailer!
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Valid, active Class A Driver's License.
• 2-years of Non-CDL Driving Experience.
• Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen.
• As a CDL Driver, you must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and the commitment to succeed.
