Compensation & Schedule
• $22–$25/hour
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with possible overtime
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
Join a dynamic accounting team supporting business clients with full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online. This role ensures accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting that drive better business decisions. Success is measured by clean books, timely reconciliations, and proactive issue resolution aligned with GAAP standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Record financial transactions including income and expenses in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts within QBO
• Categorize transactions, add payees/customers, and correct miscategorized entries
• Maintain and optimize the chart of accounts to align with GAAP and business needs
• Generate and analyze financial reports such as profit & loss and balance sheets
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online bookkeeping
• Strong reconciliation skills for both bank and credit card accounts
• Ability to identify and resolve transaction or balance discrepancies
• Familiarity with GAAP principles in small business accounting
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Excel/Google Sheets
• Cloud-based file sharing platforms (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive)
• Email and scheduling tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience uploading and matching transfers in QBO
• Ability to troubleshoot and balance accounts with minimal supervision
• Prior work in a client-accounting or bookkeeping service firm
