Job Summary:
The Supply Chain / Logistics Associate supports daily supply chain operations by coordinating the movement, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. This role involves inventory control, shipment coordination, data entry, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping and delivery schedules.
- Prepare shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and labels.
- Track inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Update shipment, inventory, and order data in internal systems.
- Stage materials for distribution or shipment.
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding order status.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, email).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 50 lbs (role dependent).
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented.
