The Department of Political Science and Public Policy at St. Mary’s College of Maryland is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Political Science beginning August 2026. Faculty members teach three courses per semester, advise undergraduate students, supervise senior projects, engage in scholarship and professional activities, and fulfill departmental and college-level service responsibilities. Faculty are expected to teach in-person classes supported by methodologies that promote students’ engagement. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with a range from $72,000 - $78,000.
