Major and established company with a huge majority market share in what they manufacture and a good working culture has an opportunity on the day shift for a Welding / Maintenance Technician .The Welding Technician is responsible for maintaining welding equipment and site property. Will be responsible for weld repairs to equipment and facilities in a safe, efficient manner. The location is southwest suburban Atlanta, GA. There is an attractive hourly rate. This day shift role is from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Thursday. OT is paid at time and 1/2. Paid weekly and an extra $1.00 an hour for perfect attendance for the week. There is also an attractive 401K with matching.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Should have a state certified issued by a certified welding inspector welding certification, either on file or in their possession

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handles, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands/arms and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
