Web Software Developer Location Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB area) :

PMSA Group an immediate opening for a qualified Database Programmer / Analyst in support of the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Resources and Analysis Directorate (CCJ8). The CCJ8 Analysis and Requirements division requires a Web Developer to assist the Data Analysis division with integration of artificial intelligence applications throughout USCENTCOM by participating in the development, testing and delivery of software products or components to maintain existing systems. Software support includes Advana, Maven, C2IE, and other collaborative data analytic tools.

Responsibilities:

Web / Software developers apply advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex software and web application problems and support/maintain the organization's websites and digital products. Work without considerable direction. USCENTCOM analysis and requirements division is seeking a creative candidate who is also rigorous, precise, listens well, and asks good questions to provide direct web development support data analytics.

Major functions :

• Builds, designs, and maintains all websites and software applications.
• Designs, writes, and edits website content.
• Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
• Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs.
• Communicates with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily.
• Executes assignments with the use of web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface.
• Plans and delivers software platforms and products across multiple organizational units.
• Evaluates written code to ensure it meets government standards and is compatible with all devices.
• Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must have a DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance and be Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligible; also must have a current DoD approved Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) having at least one year of eligibility remaining before required renewal of their background investigation.
• BA or BS degree
• 3 years of experience with Web Design
• Experience with architectural approaches like microservices, pub/sub, domain driven design
• Experience with preparing and presenting senior leadership briefings and papers

Additional Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working in a Joint and/or Combatant Command
• Experience in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to talk, discuss, and present with clarity, precision, and conciseness
• Experience with Data Analysis
• - Experience and proficiency with R, Python, SQL, or other software programs that analyze data
