Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is looking for a talented and driven Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the wireless/telecommunications industry to join our dynamic team in Towson, Maryland .

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow, with exciting projects that range from cutting-edge wireless facilities to bridges, retaining walls, and other unique structural designs. No two days are the same, and your engineering creativity will always be put to good use.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and design structural solutions for a diverse portfolio of wireless and non-wireless projects, including telecom towers (monopoles, guyed and self-supporting), building mounts, water tanks, and custom structures.
  • Manage projects from start to finish—from proposals and team coordination to system selection, planning, and construction oversight.
  • Participate in occasional site visits, inspections, and client meetings that keep you connected to your projects in the field.
  • Take ownership of project quality and efficiency, ensuring that deliverables are accurate, timely, and exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE license required; Master’s degree a plus)
  • Proficiency in structural design of steel, concrete, and wood
  • Strong experience with RISA Suite (RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection)
  • Familiarity with tools like tnxTower, Enercalc, L-Pile, Excel, and AutoCAD
  • A collaborative spirit with a desire to mentor junior engineers and review technical work
  • Business development savvy and a proactive mindset
  • Aspiration to be a go-to technical leader and serve as Engineer of Record
