Job Purpose

The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative software solutions that align with the evolving needs of our clients and markets. This role focuses on leveraging Microsoft technologies, along with other modern, state-of-the-art tools and frameworks, to build scalable, reliable, and forward-looking applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Build high-performing C# microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and modern user interfaces using .NET Core, Blazor, and other UI frameworks.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation, conduct code reviews, and develop unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.

  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot internal systems, resolve technical challenges, and identify opportunities to enhance workflows and overall system performance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, QA, and Product teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment, sharing expertise and supporting peers to achieve project goals.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies, recommend new tools and processes, and contribute to the evolution of development standards and practices.

Requirements

  • Experience & Education: 3–5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business, or 5–7 years of related experience without a degree.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in .NET Core, Blazor, Microsoft SQL, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and JSON, with experience developing REST APIs.

  • Testing Expertise: Minimum of 3 years using XUnit/NUnit or equivalent testing frameworks, manual testing best practices, and testing legacy applications.

  • Business Knowledge: Entry-level understanding of commercial construction, facility management, or real estate brokerage is preferred but not required.

  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM systems, SharePoint, and financial/budgeting software.
