Public Safety Officer - About the Role

We are seeking dependable and professional Public Safety Officers to join our team in the Kansas City Power & Light District. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff throughout the property.Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of property and patrons
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a professional manner
  • Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or safety hazards
  • Assist local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and tenants

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies or serious misdemeanors)
  • Prefer candidates with a current Kansas City Private Security License (or ability to obtain one)
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required

Join one of the city’s premier nightlife destinations! We are seeking experienced, professional, and reliable Doormen & Security personnel to join our elite team at a high-end nightclub at The Power & Light District.Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of nightclub, bar, or event security experience (high-end or VIP venue preferred)
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Ability to stand for long periods and manage large crowds safely
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Security license or relevant training/certifications are a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and screen guests upon entry
  • Check IDs and enforce venue policies
  • Monitor crowd behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Handle conflicts discreetly and professionally
  • Work closely with management and other security staff to uphold venue standards
