PURPOSE:
To assist the Driver Development Coordinator by performing duties essential to hiring new drivers. Help develop our new drivers to ensure they understand and follow Marten procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Road Test drivers
2. Transport drivers to/from clinic, hotel and other locations as needed
3. Pickup lunch
4. Explain Omnitracs unit to new drivers including navigation and e-logs
5. Review Workflow process
6. Help drivers with orientation modules and safety videos
7. Train drivers on Electronic Trip Confirmation
8. Coordinate with shop to assist drivers with truck assignments
9. Review driver apps with new drivers
10. Other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIPS:
Interact daily with drivers, recruiting department and shop personnel
EDUCATION:
3+ years of CDL driving experience, no preventable accidents, no serious moving violations
