Position SummaryThe Recruiter / HR Specialist is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and on-boarding caregivers, nursing staff and office support while supporting HR functions such as employee engagement, compliance, and scheduling support. This role is key to ensuring BrightStar maintains a strong, reliable team to provide exceptional client care. Responsibilities * Source, screen, and recruit qualified caregivers, HHAs, and Nurses * Manage job postings and recruitment pipelines on platforms such as Indeed, Linkedin, Facebook and other social media * Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring decisions with management * Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training * Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations * Support employee relations, recognition programs, and retention efforts * Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs and workforce planning Qualifications * Previous experience in recruiting and/or human resources (healthcare preferred) * Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements * Strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office/Google Suite * High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Why Join BrightStar Care? * Competitive pay * Supportive and mission-driven team environment * Opportunities for growth and professional development * Make a meaningful impact in your community
