Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

The Position : Our client is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The pay range our client is offering is $135,000 base salary.

• $135,000 Base Salary ($70hr - $90hr)

Requirements:

• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Active Pennsylvania License
• Active DEA License
• Must Be Able to Pass Background Check
• Strong Written Communication Skills

Responsibilities:

• Mon – Friday (8AM – 4PM)
• Two Days per Week in Clarion & Three Days in DuBois
• Obtain, Evaluate and Record Mental Health Histories
• Perform Mental Health Assessments
• Order Necessary Testing (Labs, EKG) for Routine and Acute Mental Health Care
• Analyze and Interpret Data to Establish Appropriate Treatment Planning
• Initiate Necessary Referrals/Consults to Specialists and Other Health Professionals/Services
• Educate Individuals Regarding Mental Health Related Matters Including Treatments, Medications, Diet and Other Issues as Required
• Provide Management for Acute and Chronic Mental Illness Under the Direction of the Supervising Physician
• Prescribe Necessary Medications, as Authorized by Law and with the Limits of the Written Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Agreement, to Remit/Resolve Patient Mental Health Problems/Symptoms
• Provide Services to Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric Patients
• Adhere to Supervision Requirements as Governed by a Written CRNP Supervision Agreement
