Plastics Extrusion Engineer - Tooling & Design

• 3+ years of dedicated experience designing tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion in a plastics manufacturing environment are required to be considered
• Pay is up to $90,000 annually
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• This position is onsite with no remote possibility

This full time, permanent Plastics Extrusion Engineer - Tooling & Design is at a growing, very flexible, employee- friendly, ISO certified manufacturer of plastic extrusion products. This position could grow into a department head position, if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Creating plastic extrusion tooling designs for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• Directing the designing, building, modifying, installing and maintaining efforts
• Assisting machine operators and machinists
• Adjusting the extrusion tooling
• Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and improve production processes

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• 3+ years of plastic extrusion tooling design experience for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• 3+ years of strong extrusion processing experience
• Strong extrusion processing knowledge
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
