AB Staffing is seeking an experienced and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students for the 2025–2026 school year in the Greater Chicago area . If you’re looking for flexibility, great pay, and the chance to change lives, this is the role for you.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: 35 to 40 hours/week, following the district academic calendar.
• Pay: $53–$55/hr (up to $1,925/week).
• Contract: Full school year (2025–2026).
• Caseload: Varies by location — we’ll match you with a classroom that fits your expertise and preferences.
• Start: ASAP or start of the school year.

Physical Therapist (PT) Job Duties:

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Physical Therapist (PT) Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a valid Illinois License for Physical Therapy.
• 1+ years of relevant experience; experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• BLS/CPR Cert.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
