Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based Float
Location: Tumwater, WA
Job Type: Full-Time (School Year Position)

Weekly Pay: $2,400-2,600

About the Position:
We are seeking an adaptable and student-centered Physical Therapist (PT) Float to support multiple schools within the Tumwater, WA area. The PT Float will provide coverage across campuses as needs arise, ensuring students receive high-quality physical therapy services throughout the district. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys variety, collaboration, and working within a dynamic educational setting.

• Provide school-based PT services across multiple schools, based on district needs.
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to support student mobility, access, and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, related service providers, and IEP teams.
• Document sessions, progress notes, and evaluations in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment, positioning, and assistive technology as appropriate.
• Maintain flexible scheduling and adapt to varied caseloads and environments.

Qualifications:

• Current Washington State Physical Therapist (PT) License required.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred; new grads with strong interest in school settings encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a diverse and mobile caseload.
