Candidate must demonstrate 15 or more years’ experience in software engineering related positions, including a minimum of 10 years’ experience on DOE projects.
Candidate must demonstrate experience participating in systems engineering teams, with responsibilities including software engineering and program development to support systems engineering initiatives.
Candidate must be able to work independently and within a multi-discipline team.
Prior SRS experience and working knowledge of SRNS processes and procedures is preferred.
Occasional travel is required.

In this role, the selected candidate will work as a senior level OAS developer to support OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) development. OAS is an Oracle tool suite that provides analytics in support of SRS decision making. Candidate will help to define scope of information technology (IT) projects and develop effective quality solutions to solve unique or complex problems; solutions that comply with SRNS IT processes and procedures. Direct and mentor less experienced professionals. Provide judgment, leadership, and expertise in the implementation of complex information systems and database infrastructure initiatives.
Maintain technical expertise in assigned emphasis areas, demonstrate flexibility in multidiscipline and assist others in their development
Perform other tasks associated with application development lifecycle, commercial off-the-shelf software support and database administration:
Collaborate with functional areas to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop effective analytics solutions to meet business needs
- Required: Minimum of five years OAS backend development experience.
The desired applicant must have extensive experience with the OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) Tool Suite. Extensive experience with data warehouse architecture as well as design of Oracle Analytics Server products. Applicant must be self-motivated, ambitious and interact well with users and other analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. Have strong technical proficiency in all areas of BI development from configuration, requirements, modeling and security.

Intelligence initiatives. Extensive knowledge with Data Architecture/ Data Modeling, and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) is required in support of business intelligence and data warehouse applications. Tasks include:
- Advanced knowledge of OAS and Oracle Database components.
- Advanced experience with BI Data Modeling conducive to Star Schema Enterprise reporting models.
- Advanced technical knowledge with BI Administration Tool.
- Advanced experience in the application and use of metadata tools, security and user interface designs.
- Manage repository layers for an integrated design and to meet specific business area needs.
