Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – School Based
Location: Ashburn, VA 20148
Shifts: Monday–Friday | Days | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $45 – $48/hr
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Assignment Type: Multiple School Sites
Onsite Requirement: 100% Onsite (0% Remote)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and adaptable Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services across multiple school locations. The OT will support students with diverse disabilities by evaluating fine motor, sensory processing, adaptive, and functional skills essential for learning and independence. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and experience working in school-based environments.
ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments in fine motor skills, sensory regulation, motor planning, and functional school activities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to teachers, staff, and families.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with IEP and school standards.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Recommend assistive technology tools and environmental modifications when appropriate.
Promote safety, engagement, and independence across school routines.
Active Virginia Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility).
Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Prior pediatric or school-based OT experience.
Strong understanding of IDEA , IEP processes, and documentation requirements.
Ability to work independently and travel between multiple school sites.
Experience with sensory integration and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) populations.
Familiarity with assistive technology for learning.
NBCOT Certification .
