If so, what were your responsibilities? - What inventory management or ERP systems have you used (e.g., Lawson, Pyxis, EPIC, Tecsys)? Inventory & PAR Management - Walk me through how you would restock a PAR area from start to finish. - What steps do you take if you see a product is consistently over-par or under-par? - Describe your experience with cycle counts, daily counts, or inventory audits. - How do you ensure accuracy when counting or stocking supplies? Customer Service & Communication - How do you handle a situation where a clinical department says they did not receive supplies you delivered? - Tell me about a time you helped a nurse or department resolve an urgent supply need. - How do you communicate professionally when departments request items that are out of stock? Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking - What would you do if you cannot locate an item that shows 'in stock' on the system? - Describe a time you identified a supply issue before it became a problem. - How would you handle receiving a shipment with damaged or incorrect products? FAILURE TO PRESENT RESULTS WITHIN THE GIVEN TIMEFRAME WILL RESULT IN A RESCINDED OFFER.** Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist Shift/Schedule: 5X8 3PM -11:30PM EST , weekends required JOB REQUIRMENTS: - HS Diploma/GED - 2+ years experience in Supply Chain JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Stores supplies in clean rooms, carts, and supply areas, using proper rotation. Scans inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items. Picks supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts, and restocking Exchange Carts such as Code (Crash) Carts and Procedural Carts/Trays. Checks various supply locations for expired or recalled products and removes them per policy. Distributes oxygen tanks and minor equipment. Delivers supplies and packages to nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies. Responds to phone calls, emails, and customer service requests. Processes issues and credits in the ERP system, ensuring correct cost allocation. Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy. Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories. Utilizes various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs. Maintains a clean and organized workspace and ensure par locations are free of dirt, dust, and trash. Assists with training Supply Chain staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
