Position Summary...
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Manager to join the Marketplace Payments team. In this role, you will be a key part of Payments and Financial Operations, focused on driving operational excellence and delivering a seamless seller payment experience. This high-impact position requires strategic thinking, advanced analytics, operational expertise, and product insights to improve payouts, elevate seller satisfaction, and foster cross-functional collaboration with Product, Tech, Risk, and Operations teams.
What you'll do...
- Define and proactively monitor financial and operational metrics to drive operational excellence, improve seller experience, and help reduce payment friction.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes, minimize errors and escalations, and enable scalable marketplace payments while identify ing opportunities for automation and simplification.
- Drive operational improvements with payment providers to streamline payouts, enhance tax compliance, and manage financial risk.
- Support seller programs which impact Payment Operations including aspects of business/product requirements, seller experience, marketing campaigns, and legal requirements.
- Establish quantitative metrics to assess operational performance and seller resolution, lead initiatives to improve key performance indicators ( KPIs), oversee incident and escalation management, identify gaps and seller impact, define protocols and SLAs, and communicate findings to leadership
- Set up, launch, and support new programs within Marketplace payments, ensuring smooth implementation, cross-functional alignment, and continuous performance tracking.
- Partner with the Operations and Business teams to drive operational excellence across the organization, creating systems and processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and a positive culture

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field and 5+ years’ experience in Business Analytics and Operations management OR master's degree in business , Finance or related field and 2+ years’ experience in Business Analytics and Operations management
- 2+ years of e-commerce industry working experience preferred with an understanding of operational and performance based KPIs.
- 2+ years of industry experience preferably in Payments, Financial Services, Tax, Compliance, or similar space
- Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal; with ability to communicate / present to internal teams, also ability to express complex technical topics clearly & easily.
- Proficient in programming languages (Python or R), and solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases (for example, Hive, Big Query).
- Experience with one or more data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
