We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Tampa, Florida. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients in the emergency department
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate
Work collaboratively with emergency physicians, nurses, and other providers
Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the EMR
Requirements:
Active Florida license
National board certification as an NP or PA
BLS and ACLS required
Previous Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred
Ability to manage acute and emergent conditions autonomously
