Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team in Ottumwa, Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, including vital signs and fetal heart rates
- Assist with deliveries and support families throughout the childbirth process
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license that allows practice in Iowa
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
