The Boeing Company is looking for an International Tax Senior based out of Chicago, Il; Hazelwood, MO or Seattle, WA.

This International Taxation Project Manager will act as a lead for Boeing's Pillar 2 implementation. The individual will be part of the broader Boeing Corporate Tax Department (primarily based in the United States) and report to the Director of International Taxation (based in Brisbane, AU).

This person will work closely with other tax team members, financial/cost accountants, legal counsel, business operational, regional leadership personnel, outside consultants, and others to ensure smooth Pillar 2 implementation and the provision of timely advice and guidance, accurate tax reporting and optimum tax efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as lead calculation reviewer (including Globe & Transitional safe harbors)
  • Communicate Pillar 2 implications with key stakeholders
  • Support Pillar 2 financial audit engagement
  • Monitor legislative updates
  • Lead technology implementation
  • Lead day to day liaison with technology provider/outsource firm

Ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly motivated individual with an understanding of complex cross border tax issues, income tax accounting concepts, and the ability to manage transactional activity and project manage projects
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to research, summarize, develop conclusions and recommendations on various tax issues
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Flexible in working with team members based across global time zones

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience using domestic and international tax laws and regulation
  • Experience working in a public accounting firm
  • Experience with corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 7 plus years of in corporate, industry and/or public accounting
  • Certified public accountant (CPA)
  • Experience managing technology implementation

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range: $148,750 - $201,250
