Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable hotel overnight security officer to ensure the safety and security of our Holiday Inn and LaQuinta properties. The ideal candidate will conduct regular patrols, respond to guest requests, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency. The overnight security officer should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following company and brand standards.

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties:
Security Patrols

• • Conduct regular patrols of both Holiday Inn and LaQuinta properties
  • Monitor parking lots for suspicious activity and safety concerns.
  • Ensure the overall security of both properties.

Guest Requests and Issues

• • Respond to guest requests and concerns as directed by the front desk agent.
  • Address minor maintenance issues, such as trash removal and basic cleaning tasks.

Emergency Response

• • Monitor for fire safety hazards and take appropriate action.
  • Immediately contact local authorities in case of emergencies.
    
     

Additional Considerations:
Physical Requirements:

• • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights.
    
     

Skills and Qualifications:

• • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.

Schedule:

• • Primarily overnight shifts.
  • Flexible schedule required.
    
     

Qualification Standards & Company Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
