Full-Time Maintenance Position

Position Summary:

Tidioute Borough and Southwest Warren County Municipal Authority is seeking a dependable, hard-working individual to join our team as a Full-Time Maintenance Worker. This position involves a variety of tasks supporting both the Borough and the Water & Sewer Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

• General maintenance of borough roads, parks, buildings, and public facilities
• Assist with repair and upkeep of water and sewer systems
• Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and hauling materials
• Operate borough equipment and vehicles (e.g., mowers, tractors, hand tools)
• Seasonal duties such as snow plowing, mowing, and storm debris cleanup
• Maintain stormwater systems
• Support water operations such as meter reading and system flushing
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and assist with special projects

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or with a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in or around water or sewer treatment facilities
• Possession of a water and/or wastewater operator's license
• Snowplow operation experience
• Basic mechanical, plumbing, or electrical skills
