Job Description
An Insight Global client is looking for candidates with Embedded Software Development experience within the Aerospace industry. This team will be dedicated to design, development, analysis, integration, and testing of embedded software platforms and systems, and will require complex understanding of hardware aviation systems.
Compensation: $75.00/hr - $80.00/hr
Exact Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years' experience in embedded software design, development, verification, validation and hardware/software integration.
Ada language experience and proficiency in C, C++, or equivalent languages. Need to be able to convert Ada code to C.
Familiar with Linux*, Hyperlinks, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or Wind River operating systems.
DO-178C Processes - Software Implementation.
Experience with configuration management tools such as GitHub.
Experience with Virtual Machine/Virtual Box. -Prior Aerospace/Avionics experience.
-Located in Grand Rapids, MI or Tampa Bay area, preferrable.
-Exposure to Aviation Protocols & Interfaces (A429, A829, A615, 1553, Time Sensitive Networks (TSN), and TCP/IP).
