The Correctional Sergeant position serves as a lead worker in IDOC facilities and is a vital position for the custody, control, and safety of all IDOC facilities. The ideal candidate should be able to exhibit leadership skills and the ability to manage concerns and issues related to the supervision of individuals in custody while maintaining order in the facility. We encourage all staff that meet the minimum requirements to apply for the Correctional Sergeant position.
