TenderHeart Health Outcomes is hiring for an experienced Director of Project Management in Austin, TX. As the Director of Project Management, you will lead the strategic execution of cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence, innovation, and impact across TenderHeart Health Outcomes. Reporting into the COO, this role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in project governance, implementation management, stakeholder engagement, and healthcare delivery systems.
· Lead and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
· Oversee a team of 3 implementation managers and ensure seamless implementation.
· Develop and implement project management frameworks, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent execution across teams.
· Manage a portfolio of complex, high-impact projects across clinical, operational, and technology domains.
· Collaborate with executive leadership to define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
· Mentor and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
· Drive stakeholder communication and reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment at all levels.
· Support change management efforts and organizational readiness for new initiatives.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· PMP or equivalent project management certification required.
·10+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Proven track record managing large-scale healthcare or health tech projects.
· Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, payer-provider dynamics, and clinical workflows.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana).
· Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
