DevOps Engineer
Location - Remote , Canada
About the Role:
This role sits at the heart of the platform, working closely with engineering, data, testing, and security teams. You'll be responsible for designing and operating reliable AWS infrastructure, improving CI/CD pipelines, strengthening observability, and responding to real production challenges. There's a lot of autonomy here and a genuine opportunity to shape DevOps practices end to end.
Must-Haves:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or similar tools like Terraform)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
Containers on AWS (ECS / Fargate)
Solid scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, or Ruby)
PostgreSQL experience and strong SQL knowledge
Monitoring and logging with CloudWatch / CloudTrail
Comfort working with security, compliance, and incident response
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with SOC 2 or security-driven environments
ARM migration experience
Deep log analysis using tools like Athena
