Full Time

$55,000 - $65,000 per year

(Pay based on experience)

As a Creative Arts Coordinator, you will carry out our mission to improve the experience of aging together by developing, implementing, evaluating, and expanding Keswick's art offerings for residents and community members - including events, activities, and programs.

What will I do as a Creative Arts Coordinator?

  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and manage current and expanded art offerings for residents and community members on campus and with community partners.
  • Deliver a variety of art programming for both residents and community members on campus and with community partners.
  • Develops collaborations and partnerships with local artists, arts organizations and the art community that generates revenue towards budgetary goals.
  • Expands opportunities for volunteer engagement.
  • Manages the facilitators, interns, and volunteers working within the art program.
  • In partnership with team members, organizing profile-raising art events to attract audiences, donors, partnerships, and projects that promote Keswick's mission and vision.
  • Assists with the creation and dissemination of content for internal and external communications and other promotional opportunities.
  • Raise awareness about Keswick through participation in community outreach events as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What is required in this position?

  • Proven experience in the arts - creating art curriculum for adults, delivering art programming, managing art partnerships, and coordinating art events.
  • Teaching experience with older adults preferred.
  • Artistic talents in a variety of mediums.
  • Proven superior organizational skills in a complex, multi-tasking environment.
  • Outcome driven work style, establishing clear expectations and ongoing measurement of performance toward achieving targeted outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically (written and verbally) with diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to Keswick's mission and vision.
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in the arts, gerontology, or curriculum development preferred.
