Overview

Community Outreach Coordinator - Signet Health – Ohana Center - Monterey Bay, CA

Signet Health is actively recruiting an experienced professional for the position of Community Outreach Coordinator for a child and adolescent outpatient center that provides Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization and Residential behavioral health services in a beautiful state of the art campus located at the Ohana Center, part of Community Health of Monterey Peninsula, in Monterey Bay, CA.  This position will provide community education support and implement referral development strategies that result in a positive community image and assist the facility in meeting its goals.  This position reports to the Administrative Director of Behavioral Health.

Signet Health offers a generous compensation range of $135k - $150k, depending on education/experience.  A comprehensive benefits plan, along with relocation allowance.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop marketing/referral strategies to ensure profitable growth and service expansion.
• Well versed with social media marketing/referral development.
• Previous work experience in healthcare marketing on a regional or national basis.
• Provide leadership and industry knowledge.
• Ensure appropriate mix of public relations, volume generating activities, and new market development strategies, including those requiring program enhancements to more effectively serve referral sources.
• Perform effective service recovery as needed and regularly collaborate with the clinical team to assure that clinical services meet referral source needs.
• Regional travel with reliable transportation required.

Requirements/Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a health, business or clinical field required; Master’s degree, preferred.
• Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Marketing for behavioral health, long-term care, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, and healthcare reimbursement. 
• Strong social, presentation, communication and writing skills needed.

Hospital/Program Description

In 1929, Montage Health started as a locally owned, non-profit 30-bed hospital in Carmel, CA.  Through the decades, Montage Health has changed with the times and in 1962, moved into a modern, 100-bed facility as Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.  Community Health of the Monterey Peninsula grew through the years and in 2018 received a generous gift to create Ohana - which means not just family, but is inclusive of anyone part of the support system, - friends, neighbors, etc.  In 2023, Ohana's revolutionary campus opened to provide and support mental health journeys for the youth and families.
